French stock market index down 0.64 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.64 percent to close at 5,028.93 points on Tuesday, down 32.23 points.

Tuesday's top three gainers were Total, up 1.44 percent, Technip, up 1.22 percent, and Gemalto, up 1.20 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Tuesday were Airbus Group, down 4.51 percent, Renault, down 3.48 percent, and Alcatel-Lucent, down 2.68 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 1.01 percent to close at 5,061.16 points, up 50.7 points. Endit
