Germany's benchmark DAX index advances

The benchmark DAX index at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Wednesday declined slightly by 2.66 percent, or 305.61 points, and closed at 11,805.99 points.

Thanks to the hope of recovering economy in the euro zone, the German benchmark index jumped over the marks of 11,700 and 11,800 points for the first time on Wednesday .

BMW AG Sttopped the list of risers with a 4.97 percent increase. Volkswagen AG Vz advanced by 4.73 percent. Daimler AG rose by 3.80 percent. Bayer AG and Continental AG added 3.64 percent and 3.57 percent.

Deutsche Post AG the only one of the 30 Dax companies which suffered a loss on Wednesday, down by 1.74 percent.

The turnover stood at 4.80 billion euros (around 5.09 billion U.S. dollars ). Daimler AG was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 424.32 million euros. (1 euro = 1.06 U.S. dollars). Endit
