5 killed, 4 injured in Zambia bus collision

Five people died while four others sustained serious injuries after a bus they were traveling in collided with another bus in northwestern Zambia's Solwezi district, the country's official news agency reported on Wednesday.

Northwestern Province Police Commissioner of Police Grace Chipaila told the Zambia News and Information Service that the accident happened when the driver of the first bus failed to keep to his lane and collided with an oncoming bus.

Among those who died included the driver of the bus that caused the accident as well as a three-year-old baby while all the injured have been admitted to a local hospital, she added. Endi
