13 teams to take part in weightlifting tournament in Cuba

More than 80 athletes from 13 countries and regions will take part in the 34th International Weightlifting Tournament Manuel Suarez In Memoriam in the center-southern Cuban province of Cienfuegos, local media reported.

The United States, Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Uruguay along with the hosts Cuba will be competing at the five-day event, which lasts through Saturday.

Cuba is represented by 14 men and eight women, as part of their preparations for the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, on July 10-26. Endi
