French stock market index down 0.55 on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 experienced a decrease of 0.55 percent to close at 4,937.20 points on Monday, down 27.15 points.

The CAC 40 closed lower today with 27 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease, while Vinci stayed the same as the previous trading day.

Monday's top three gainers were ArcelorMittal, up 1.74 percent, Technip, up 1.34 percent, and Renault, up 1.23 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Monday were Orange, down 5.37 percent, Bouygues, down 3.52 percent, and EDF, down 2.82 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.84 percent to close at 4,964.35 points, up 0.84 points. Endit
