Czech Republic loses to Australia 2-3 in Davis Cup

The Czech men's tennis team lost to Australia 2-3 in the Davis Cup first round tie in Ostrava, Czech Republic from March 6 to 8.

After the three matches held on Friday and Saturday, Australian led with 2-1. In the final day's two single matches, Czech Player Rosol lost to Bernard Tomic 6-7 (4-7), 3-6, 6-7 (5-7), Czech player Jan Mertl beat Samuel Groth 6-3, 6-2.

After the defeat in first round, the Czech team has to play the match for promotion in September. Endi
