Cyberspace should become a new frontier for bilateral cooperation between China and the United States, rather than a new source of frictions, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Sunday.

Wang made the remarks at a press conference on the sidelines of the annual session of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

"Both China and the United States are major users of the Internet. We have common interests in upholding cyber security," he told reporters.

"We hope cyberspace will become a new frontier for our cooperation, rather than a new source of frictions," Wang added. Endi
