Czech trails 2-0 to Australia in Davis Cup

The Czech Davis Cup team trailed 2-0 to Australian in the first round of a Davis Cup duel that held in Ostrava, Czech Republic on Friday.

Czech player Lukas Rosol, who is the current world No. 31 in ATP ranking, lost to the world No. 133, Australian Thanas Kokkinakis 4-6, 2-6, 7-5, 7-5, 6-3 in the first men's single match. In the following single match, Australian player Bernard Tomic defeated Czech player Jiri Vesely 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

With the absence of Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek, Czech team is facing a relegation if it lost to Australia.

Stepanek is recovering from an injury and just starting with training. Berdych is preparing for his next tournament in Miami with his new coach Daniel Vallverduem. Endite
