S. African president's 3 children in hospital after accident

Xinhua, March 7, 2015 Adjust font size:

Three children of South African President Jacob Zuma were in hospital following an accident Friday morning, the Presidency said.

The children and the driver are in a stable condition after being treated for various injuries in a hospital in Pietermaritzburg, northern South Africa, presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj said.

A cousin of Zuma was among the injured, said Maharaj.

"The Presidency wishes the family all the best during this period and wishes the children a speedy recovery," he said.

The children were not identified and details of the crash were not given.

Zuma has been married six times and in 2012 local media estimated Zuma to have 20 children. Endi
