Chinese stocks close lower Friday

Chinese stocks closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.22 percent to finish at 3,241.19 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index shed 1.50 percent to close at 11,392.40 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, plunged 3.15 percent to end at 1,951.40 points. Endi
