Australian dollar drops below 78 U.S. cents

The Australian dollar has dropped back below 78 U.S. cents after the European Central Bank said it would begin a bond buying program next week.

On Friday morning the local currency was trading at 77.70 U.S. cents, down from 78.16 U.S. cents on Thursday. Endi
