Snow to blanket east China

Xinhua, March 4, 2015 Adjust font size:

Snow will sweep east and central China over the next three days, China's national observatory forecast on Wednesday.

Regions in east and central China can expect snow or sleet during the period, and some areas will be hit by snowstorms, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said.

Hunan, Anhui, Jiangsu and Hubei provinces will experience heavy snow, and Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces will see rainstorms, according to the observatory.

The NMC advised residents to stay indoors and asked local authorities to be prepared. Endit
