Australian dollar edges lower on Wednesday

The Australian dollar edged marginally down on Wednesday after economic growth figures were released.

The local currency was trading at 78.11 U.S.cents, down from 78. 35 U.S.cents on Tuesday.

It came after official statistics showed Australia's economy grew by 0.5 percent in the December quarter and by 2.5 percent in 2014. Endite
