China launches English, Japanese website for Diaoyu Islands

Xinhua, March 4, 2015 Adjust font size:

China on Wednesday launched a website for the Diaoyu Islands in both the English and Japanese languages to demonstrate sovereignty, according to the State Oceanic Administration (SOA).

The website will help the international community to know the truth and further demonstrate China's indisputable sovereignty over Diaoyu Dao, said an SOA statement.

The website has published historical records, evidence, literature and legal documents that demonstrate Diaoyu Island and its subordinate islets are "the inherent territory of China." The proclamation is shown in large font on the website.

The site is run by the National Marine Data and Information Service. The address for the English site is http://www.diaoyudao.org.cn/en, and the Japanese site is located at http://www.diaoyudao.org.cn/jp.

The Chinese version of the site, http://www.diaoyudao.org.cn, was launched on Dec. 30, 2014. Endi
