Togo records five nominations for 2015 Presidential election

The Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) has recorded five nominations for the presidential election on April 15, 2015 after the deadline for submission of dossiers, according to a communique of INEC Tuesday.

The five nominators are Jean-Pierre Fabre of CAP 2015, Faure Gnassingbe Essozimna of UNITE party, Gogue Tchaboure of the ADDI party, Taama Komandega of NET party, and Traore Tchassona Mouhamed of MCD party.

The statement said, "In accordance with Article 154 of the Electoral Code, INEC conducted a preliminary review of all the nominations and determined the necessary administrative checks."

The Constitutional Court will announce the list of presidential candidates after check no later than 25 days before the election. Endi
