Vietnam to vie for titles at World Martial Arts Council Games

Vietnam will compete in six events of the first World Martial Arts Council Games to be held in Bangkok from March 12-22, according to the Vietnam Martial Arts Association.

The Vietnamese athletes will fight for titles in the muay boran, muay thai, kickboxing, pencak silat, karatedo and taekwondo categories, said the association on its website on Tuesday.

Kung-fu masters from 30 countries and regions are expected to take part in the competition.

The Vietnamese tradition martial art, Vovinam, will also make its debut through a demonstration event. Endi
