Dollar trades in upper 118 yen zone in early Tokyo

The U.S. dollar on Thursday changed hands at the upper 118 yen level in early Tokyo deals.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.82-83 yen compared with 118.82-92 yen in New York and 118.82-84 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1362-1364 dollars and 135.02-03 yen against 1.1357-1367 dollars and 134.92-135.02 yen in New York and 1.1372- 1374 dollars and 135.13-17 in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
