Hundreds of cars stolen every day in Italy: report

Hundreds of cars are stolen every day in Italy, according to a recent report by LoJack, a global provider of technology products for the tracking of assets and people.

The report said more than 330 cars are stolen every day in Italy, of which over half go lost forever. LoJack said nearly 1.2 million cars were stolen over the last 15 years in Italy. Campania, a southern region, was the most affected followed by Lazio, of which the capital city is Rome.

Rome and Naples, the capital city of Campania, placed first for number of stolen cars, followed by business capital Milan in northern Italy.

According to the report, Panda, Punto and 500 were the most stolen models. All of them are produced by Italian car giant Fiat. Endit
