An undersea quake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale Wednesday jolted East Borneo in central parts of Indonesia, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said.

The quake struck at 08:31 a.m. Jakarta time (0131 GMT) with epicenter at 413 km northeast Tarakan of East Borneo and with the depth at 10 km under the sea, an official of the agency told Xinhua over phone.
