BiH parliament adopts plan over EU integration

The parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Monday voted to adopt a reform plan over European Union (EU) integration.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, who arrived in Sarajevo for a visit, called it an important day for BiH over it path to join the EU.

She called on all parties to work together to implement the reform plan during her meeting with senior BiH officials.

The reform plan is a precondition for the EU to endorse a pre-accession pact with BiH, signed seven years ago.

BiH so far lagged behind its neighbors over its road to join the EU because of disagreements among three major ethnic groups, namely Bosniak, Serb and Croat. Endit
