Nikkei rises 0.81 pct by break on Wall Street records, Greece deal

Tokyo stocks rose 0.81 percent by the break of Monday as investor sentiment was lifted by record highs on Wall Street last weekend after the eurozone agreed to an extension of financial aid to Greece.

The 225-issue Nikkei was up 148.89 points, from Friday to 18, 481.19.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 6.90 points, or 0.46 percent, at 1,507. 23.

Major gainers included land transport, brokerage and rubber issues. Endi
