Representatives from world major countries and Iran met here on Sunday evening for fresh talks over Iran's disputed nuclear program.

Delegations from the P5+1 group, namely the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany, and Iran met "to continue their diplomatic efforts towards reaching a long-term, comprehensive solution to the Iranian nuclear issue", according to an earlier statement from the mediator European Union. ABUJA -- At least five people were killed after a female suicide bomber on Sunday attacked a crowded market of the Potiskum town in northern Nigeria's Yobe State, local hospital sources said.

The sources who declined to be named said five dead bodies had been brought from the scene of the blast, adding that bodies of the victims and the charred remains of the bomber were evacuated by a rescue team including policemen. (Nigeria-Attack)

KIEV -- An explosion killed at least two people and injured nine others during a march in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkov on Sunday afternoon, local health department said.

The blast happened during a peaceful march to mark the first anniversary of the regime change. (Ukraine-Blast-Deaths)

DHAKA -- Forty-one persons, including nine children, drowned and several others were still missing in a ferry accident in the river Padma in western Manikganj on Sunday, officials confirmed.

But unofficial sources and private television channel NTV said 48 bodies were recovered so far from the ferry accident. (Bangladesh-Accident)

BUDAPEST -- Prime Minister Viktor Orban's ruling Fidesz party and its ally, the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP) lost their two-thirds majority in parliament on Sunday in a by-election held to replace a party stalwart in Veszprem County in west Hungary.
