HONG KONG, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude jolted 140 km east of Miyako, Japan on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 13.54 km, was initially determined to be at 39.8472 degrees north latitude and 143.569 degrees east longitude.
