"This will be the first ever international series between Afghanistan and Pakistan disabled cricketers," the secretary said.
Both teams will play three Twenty20 Internationals and two One- Day International matches of 40 overs for each inning at the National Cricket Stadium in the southern port city of Karachi.
Ansari said they are hopeful that the series will be another landmark and will bring new opportunities for disabled cricket in future.
Talking to media persons at the airport, Afghanistan Captain Nabiullah Nabi said despite different disabilities among cricketers they have learnt to play like normal players and they will try their best to beat Pakistan in the series.
Afghanistan side will start their practice sessions at the stadium on Friday.
Pakistan also announced its two separate teams for the two series to be held from Feb. 22 to 27 at the same venue of the national stadium.
To promote the cricket among disable youngsters, the PDCA has announced to telecast all the matches live at a sports channel. Endit
