French stock market index up 0.95 on Wednesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.95 percent to close at 4,799.03 points on Wednesday, up 45.04 points.

The CAC 40 closed higher with 32 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

Wednesday's top three gainers were Credit Agricole, up 7.60 percent, Societe Generale, up 4.01 percent, and Technip, up 3.15 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Wednesday were Orange, down 3.95 percent, Pernod Ricard, down 1.21 percent, and Unibail-Rodamco, down 0.96 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained a slight advance of 0.04 percent to close at 4,753.99 points, up 2.04 points. Endit
