Indian stocks close higher

The S&P BSE Sensex rose for a sixth consecutive session on Wednesday as interest-rate sensitive stocks gained on hopes of rate cuts by the RBI due to slowing inflation.

The 30-share index closed at 29,320.26, 184.38 points or 0.63 percent up from the previous close of 29,135.88 points. Endi
