Photo exhibition opens in Paris to mark Chinese New Year

A photo exhibition opened in a Paris shopping mall on Tuesday to mark the Chinese Lunar New Year.

The exhibition, under the title of "Chinese Dream", is organized by the Xinhua News Agency. It will remain open to the public at the Carrousel du Louvreto till March 15.

With a collection of 28 giant photos, the exhibition shows China's progress since the 20th century in spheres of society, economy, art, and diplomacy, etc..

The photos, selected from Xinhua's photography archives, are exhibited chronologically.

Carla Arigoni, President of the Cultural Association of 1st Arrondissement of Paris, said "the exhibition interprets that the Chinese dream is indeed that of the ordinary Chinese people." Enditem
