Canadian PM shuffles his parliamentary secretary team

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper Monday announced a shuffle of his parliamentary secretary team.
David Anderson becomes parliamentary secretary to the minister of Foreign Affairs and Consular, while Bernard Trottier becomes parliamentary secretary to the minister of Foreign Affairs and for La Francophone.
Chris Warkentin turns into parliamentary secretary to the minister of Public Works and Government Services.
Cathy McLeod is appointed as parliamentary secretary to the minister of Health and for Western Economic Diversification while Scott Armstrong is made parliamentary secretary to the minister of Employment and Social Development and minister of Labour.
Parliamentary secretaries are members of the Canadian Parliament who are appointed by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the prime minister to assist cabinet ministers with their parliamentary duties.
Under the direction of their ministers, parliamentary secretaries handle routine matters in the House of Commons, engage in committee work, and assume some extra-parliamentary responsibilities. Endi
