Modi wishes successful surgery for Singaporean PM

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong "a successful surgery" ahead of the latter's operation for prostate cancer.

"Dear @leehsienloong, hoping you have a successful surgery & a quick recovery. My good wishes to you," Modi tweeted late Sunday night.

The 63-year-old Singaporean Prime Minister has been recently diagnosed with cancer for the second time, the first being in 1992.

Lee took to social media to congratulate Modi after he won the general elections in May last year. Endi
