Iran's vice-president to visit Iraq Monday

Iran's vice-president will start on Monday a three-day visit to Baghdad during which he will meet with Iraqi President Fuad Masum and Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Tasnim news agency reported Sunday.
During his visit, Es'haq Jahangiri will attend Iran-Iraq High Joint Commission, sign several deals and meet with Iranian and Iraqi businessmen.
The visit comes nearly four months after Iraqi prime minister's visit to Tehran.
Iran has played an important role in Iraq's reconstruction after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003.
The volume of trade between Iran and Iraq reached 12 billion U.S. dollars in 2013.
The main areas of trade between the two countries cover the construction, food and industrial sectors. Enditem
