Urgent: Ukrainian president orders government forces to cease fire

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko issued an order to cease fire in the conflict zones in the country 's south-eastern Donbass region from midnight on Sunday (2200 GMT Saturday) in line with the Minsk peace agreements.

The president made the statement when speaking to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Endite
