Dollar trades in lower 120 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 120 yen line early Thursday in Tokyo deals, down slightly from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 120.20-21 yen compared with 120.42-52 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Financial markets in Tokyo were closed Wednesday for a national holiday.

The euro fetched 1.1310-1312 dollars and 135.96-97 yen against 1.1331-1341 dollars and 136.48-58 yen in New York late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
