Wade to miss All-Star Game due to hamstring injury (update)

Xinhua, February 11, 2015 Adjust font size:

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade announced Tuesday that he will not play in the upcoming All-Star Game as he is recovering from the hamstring injury.

"I think the smartest thing to do is let someone else come in and really enjoy the All-Star experience." Wade, who has missed the Heat's last six games, said.

Wade will also have to sit out Wednesday's NBA game. Later Tuesday NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced that Atlanta's Kyle Korver will be Wade's replacement for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. Endi
