Xinhua, February 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

Vietnam will invest 3.8 billion VND (180,000 U.S. dollars) to train 11 Vietnamese disabled athletes to help them earn cards for competing in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games in Brazil, according to the Vietnam National Sports Administration on Tuesday.

At present, those athletes have achievements equivalent to Paralympic medallists in such events as swimming, athletics and weightlifting.

Vietnam's medal winning hopes are being pinned on Asian gold medallists Vo Thanh Tung and Nguyen Thanh Trung for swimming, said the administration. Endi
