"Crouching Tiger" actress says yes to proposal: media

Xinhua, February 8, 2015 Adjust font size:

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, who starred in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Memoirs of a Geisha," reportedly accepted a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, Chinese rock star Wang Feng.

According to online media reports at major Chinese websites Netease, Tencent and Sina, Wang proposed on Zhang's birthday party he arranged on Saturday, ahead of the actress's 36-year-old birthday, which falls on Monday.

"We have experienced sweet times and bitter times, and I wish Ziyi great happiness. I hope that I have the chance to take care of you when we both get old," the reports quoted Wang's words to Zhang at the party.

With tears in her eyes, Zhang said "I do" to Wang's proposal, the reports said.

On Sunday morning, the account "Xitubudui" on the microblogging service Sina Weibo, which is widely believed to be Zhang's Weibo account, posted a picture of fireworks with the words "I do", attracting thousands of comments within hours.

Wang, a popular musician and rock singer in China, was married twice before his relationship with Zhang. He announced divorce with his second wife in 2013. Endi
