Philippine President Benigno Aquino III on Friday made a stern warning against those who are coddling a high-profile terrorist target who managed to escape the police dragnet in southern province of Maguindanao, saying the government "will run you over."

Aquino, in a televised message to the nation, also asked the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), the largest Muslim rebel group in the country, to surrender Abdul Basit Usman, a member of the Abu Sayyaf Group, if he is in their territory or "not to interfere" in government's operation against him.(Philippines- Terrorist-Warn)

NEW DELHI -- India Friday expressed displeasure over allegation of religious intolerance in India by U.S. President Barack Obama made shortly after his high-profile visit to India last week.

Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that India was a multireligious and multicultural country where communities including Muslims, Jews, Parsis and Christians were present.(India-Obama-Religion)

DHAKA -- Bangladesh's Islamist party's student wing has called a countrywide strike for Sunday amid the main opposition alliance' s ongoing non-stop blockade campaign that entered 32nd day on Friday.

ISLAMABAD -- The security forces in Pakistan have detained about 10,616 suspects on different charges after the Taliban savage attack on an army-run school in last December, officials said Friday.

The attack had killed 140 children and 10 of the staff members of the Army Public School in the northwestern city of Peshawar.
