Myanmar tennis players are tuning up for the 28th Southeast Asian Games to be hosted by Singapore this year, local media reported Friday.

A 7-member tennis team including three women players are being trained by a Thai coach, said the Mizzima Daily.

"Skills of Myanmar tennis players are improving much and they are nearly to get success in the SEA Games," the report quoted an official of Myanmar Tennis Federation as saying.

Tennis sports was not included in the previous 27th SEA Games hosted by Myanmar in 2013.

The 28th Southeast Asian Games will be held in Singapore in June. Endi
