Tokyo stocks rise by break on crude rally

Tokyo stocks rose 0.58 percent in the morning session of Friday following crude oil prices' gains.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was up 102.04 points, or 0. 58 percent, from Thursday to 17,606.66.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange edged up 5.70 points, or 0.40 percent, to 1, 415.81.

Major gainers included real estate, energy and steel issues. Endi
