Singapore stocks close 0.32 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 10. 99 points, or 0.32 percent, to close at 3,406.58.

A total of 1.01 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 11 billion Singapore dollars (822 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 243 to 157, with 536 others closing unchanged.

The STI index gained 9.55 points, or 0.28 percent, to close at 3,417.57 on Wednesday. Endi
