3 workers killed in fire in Turkey factory

Three workers were killed and six others injured in a dormitory of a citrus packing facility in southern Turkey on Thursday, private Dogan News Agency reported.

The fire broke out at 02.00 local time in the courtyard, and spread to the dormitory in the facility in Erdemli town of Mersin province, leaving the workers dead while they were asleep, according to the report.

The reason of the fire is still unknown and investigation into the accident was underway, the report said. Enditem
