Dollar trades in upper 117 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 117 yen range early Wednesday morning in Tokyo deals, slightly higher from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.66-68 yen compared with 117.53-63 yen in New York and 117.22-23 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1456-1458 dollars and 134.81-82 yen against 1.1472-1482 dollars and 134.87-97 yen in New York and 1.1331-1332 dollars and 132.83-87 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endi
