Dollar trades in lower 117 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 117 yen zone early Monday in Tokyo deals, down from its levels in New York on Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.19-23 yen compared with 117.47-57 yen in New York and 117.89-90 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.1306-1307 dollars and 132.50-51 yen against 1.1277-1287 dollars and 132.60-70 yen in New York and 1.1334-1338 dollars and 133.63-67 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endi
