The Pilot was killed in a small plane crash at noon time on Friday near the municipality Bernex in the canton of Geneva, said the cantonal police on Friday.

Jean-Philippe Brandt, spokesman for the Geneva cantonal police, told Xinhua that the pilot, a male Swiss, was the only one on board.

The plane crashed into an open field shortly after it took off from Geneva which intended to fly to Belgium, and caused no more injuries on the ground, said the police. Enditem
