Indian stocks close higher

ndian stocks market benchmark BSE Sensex closed at new all-time high on Thursday amid derivatives expiry.

Blue chips such as Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd, HDFC Bank Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) and Reliance Industries Ltd led the gains.

The 30-share index closed at 29,681.77, 122.59 points or 0.41 percent up from previous close of 29,559.18 points

So far in 2015, the Sensex has gained 7.9 percent, while foreign institutional investors have bought 1.17 billion U.S. dollars from local equity markets and 2.90 billion U.S. dollars from the debt market. Endi
