A fire alarm was triggered Tuesday at London Luton Airport due to a faulty light fitting in baggage reclaim area, the airport said Tuesday.

"Fire alarm was activated at 13:45 due to faulty light fitting in baggage reclaim. Operations have resumed as normal," London Luton Airport announced on its twitter account.

A main terminal of London Luton Airport was believed to be temporarily evacuated after the fire alarm was activated, local media reported citing airport sources. Enditem
