Sri Lanka condoles on Saudi king's death

Xinhua, January 23, 2015 Adjust font size:

Newly elected Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on Friday offered his deepest condolences to the people of Saudi Arabia over the demise of its leader, King Abdullah, the president's media unit said. "President Maithripala Sirisena has expressed his deepest condolences and offered sympathy to the people of Saudi Arabia upon the death of King Abdullah,"the media unit said.

The Saudi King Abdullah ibn Abdilaziz passed away in the early hours of Friday at the age of 90.
