Dollar changes hands at upper 118 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 118 yen level Friday morning in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.72-83 yen compared with 118.45-55 yen in New York and 117.99-118.00 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The euro fetched 1.1347-1348 dollars and 134.72-73 yen against 1.1361-1371 dollars and 134.63-73 yen in New York and 1.1577-1578 dollars and 136.60-64 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
