Zambia's governing party candidate continues to lead in Zambia's presidential election

Candidate for the governing party has continued to lead in Zambia's presidential election, results released by the electoral body on Thursday said.

Edgar Lungu of the Patriotic Front (PF) has polled 533,613 votes or 50.85 percent from results in 80 of the 150 constituencies received so far and is followed by his main challenger, Hakainde Hichilema of the United Party for National Development who has 474,076 votes or 45.18 percent. Endi
