Shanghai stock indices close higher Wednesday

China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 3,223.61 points on Wednesday, up 4.75 percent.

A Share Index: 3,482.88 points, up 4.76 percent;

B Share Index: 291.54 points, up 1.62 percent;
