Dollar trades in upper 118 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 118 yen level early Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.65-66 yen compared with 118.74-84 yen in New York and 118.24-26 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1546-1546 dollars and 136.98-137.01 yen against 1.1545-1555 dollars and 137.14-24 yen in New York and 1. 1590-1592 dollars and 137.04-08 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endi
